Lecturers at the University of Toledo have the primary role of teaching lower division courses in Mathematics and Statistics to students from every department and major. In addition, they provide valuable services that revolve around that teaching mission, including course development and coordination and provision of tutoring assistance and training in teaching. Lecturers also serve on the committees that plan and assess these courses. Some Lecturers teach at higher levels as needs arise and qualifications permit.
