Job Description:
The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Toledo seek to fill a 9-month Assistant Lecturer position. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in Hematology, Immunohematology, Clinical Chemistry, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the University of Toledo’s NAACLS accredited undergraduate Medical Laboratory Science program, and selected foundational biology courses in the program of study.

Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will hold an ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, and an earned master degree, preferably in biology, chemistry or a related health sciences field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching or supervising with students in a NAACLS accredited MLS program preferred.
