Job Description:

This role will partner with individual programs and faculty within JHCASE and the embedded program manager from Enrollment Management to develop and implement program-specific yield and retention strategies for the college’s undergraduate majors, minors and certificates. This position will also work with the embedded marketing specialist from Marketing and Communication to develop strategic marketing campaigns for undergraduate enrollment and retention that align with the college’s strategic goals. This includes taking responsibility for the planning and implementation of student communication starting at the consideration stage (applicants and admits).
This role will oversee the college’s student ambassadors and assist in the management of the Palmer Global Fellows program. Both groups of students serve as key focus groups for direct market research on program-specific marketing and the college’s largest recruitment cornerstone: global travel.
Another important task is serving as the college’s primary purveyor of relevant program-specific data, including information drawn from the University’s enrollment CRM.
This position will function as an integral member of the JHCASE leadership team and will collaborate with the dean and associate deans to develop, coordinate and implement the college’s strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•A bachelor’s degree in communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or other closely related field from an accredited college or university.
•Two (2) years of work experience in marketing and/or communication work.
•Two (2) years of work experience in recruiting are preferred.
•Excellent computer skills including experience.
•Ability to learn and navigate BANNER and to generate recruitment reports.
•Experience with Slate preferred.

Communication and other skills:
•Excellent verbal, nonverbal and written communication skills.
•Comfortable making presentations to students, families, faculty, etc., in both large and small groups.
•Demonstrates enthusiasm and can promote the college in a professional and energetic manner.
•Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, problem solve and think “creatively.”
•Strong personal integrity.
•Commitment to diversity.
•Able to motivate and encourage staff, faculty, alumni and current students in the promotion of the college.

•Hold valid driver’s license.
