Job Description:

This position is for a Research Assistant at the Wolfe Hall building. Dr. Tomer Avidor-Reiss and Luke Achinger will supervise the technician. The Assistant will perform laboratory maintenance and analyses, assist Ph.D. students, and help maintain the laboratory. Duties include various preparations, assisting with sample analyses, data entry, equipment maintenance, and ongoing research projects. Must have 1 year of relevant work experience. Specifically, the assistant will need to be comfortable using computers and handling large data sets.

Minimum Qualifications:

Know how to use simple operations in Microsoft Excel, operate a computer at a college level, mark regions of interest on microscope images, understand the parts of a cell, and communicate promptly and professionally.
