Job Description:
Provide leadership for athletic academic services, tutorial services, and study tables; oversee academic progress of student-athletes and monitor NCAA eligibility requirements and progress toward graduation. Provide support to Student Athlete Academic Services staff as needed, maintain consistent and open communication with coaches and staff; coordinate tracking and reporting system for student-athletes and team GPA information. Maintain thorough understanding and compliance with NCAA and MAC guidelines and regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Master’s degree is required.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in college student personnel, athletic academic advising or athletic administration.
•Minimum of 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
•Experience working with NCAA eligibility and academic requirements is preferred.
Communication and other skills:
•Effective written and oral communication skills.
•Able to prepare and present information and educational programs to diverse audiences.
