Job Description:
The Department of Music seeks a dynamic faculty member with a commitment to undergraduate and graduate education, excellent teaching and recruiting skills, and who is open to evolving as a teacher/conductor, to serve as Director of Choral Activities. Primary position responsibilities include directing/conducting the choral program, teaching courses in choral conducting and literature, serving as a member of the voice area, and acting as an ambassador and partner with local school districts and the local music community. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic leader of vocal activity and performance at the university, not only capable of teaching high ability voice majors but also willing to engage a broad range of students at the institution who love to sing.
Anticipated start date - August 2025.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include: - Earned Graduate degree in Music with concentration in Choral Music/Conducting - Minimum three years of successful teaching and recruiting experience demonstrated at the high school and college/university level.
