Title: Payroll Analyst Department Org: Controller - 106250 Employee Classification: U1 - Unclassified PSA FT Bargaining Unit: Professional Staff Association Primary Location: MC AD Shift: 1 Start Time: 8:00 AM End Time: 5:00 PM Job Description: The Payroll Analyst supports the university's mission and vision by ensuring payroll system functionality and compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, exercising discretion and professional judgment in the examination and evaluation of payroll activity; assisting with reconciliations and the recording, monitoring, and reporting of payroll-related accounts to various agencies; and partnering with staff to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll, including review, verification, adjustments, and reconciliation. The role also supports the Payroll Manager and Fiscal Manager in identifying and implementing continuous process improvements and completing special projects.
