    The Security Officer 1 (SO1) works closely with the University of Toledo Police and Hospital Staff to provide a safe and secure environment for all patients, visitors, staff, faculty and students. The SO1 is cognizant of their surroundings, using situational awareness to identify criminal or unsafe conditions. The SO1 is responsible for administrative emergency communication throughout the Health Science Campus and liaison to the University of Toledo Police Department for emergency responses. The SO1 adheres to and administers all required Security Operating Procedures as well as University customer service iCare Standards at all times.     Reporting to the Director, this position will assist in the daily operation and functioning of the office which resides in the Center for Advocacy and Student Experience (CASE) . This position will be responsible for assisting in the resolution of complaints of alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct, serving as an Administrative Hearing Officer, investigating student and student group/organization misconduct, and providing advocacy for students experiencing varying levels of crisis. This position will also be responsible for developing and executing office outreach and programming, collaborating with other areas across campus, assisting with the training of University Hearing Officers and Hearing Boards, and working with the Director to develop and advance a Conflict Resolution Program. This position will also be responsible for preparing materials for hearings, generating reports/data using the conduct database, and serving on University and Divisional committees.

Neff College of Business and Innovation is responsible for maintaining the Dean’s day-to-day schedule and long-term calendar; preparing and gathering from colleagues across the college and the university, a high volume of meeting and briefing materials; independently initiating and responding to correspondence on behalf of the Dean and Associate Deans with important internal and external stakeholders; completing, distributing, or tracking progress on action items arising from workflows; managing all logistics for travel; directing routine office operations; and serving as an ambassador on behalf of the Dean’s office. This position will often be the first point of contact for multiple constituencies, including members of the President’s Cabinet, UToledo Deans, Trustees of the University, donors, volunteers, and prospects that are the focus of UToledo’s advancement mission. This position is responsible for providing analytical support, project coordination, and project supervision. The Executive Assistant I will appropriately navigate highly sensitive and confidential information in cooperation with and for the Dean and Associate Deans. This position will develop familiarity and cultivate professional relationships with senior administrators at the university. Essential to their responsibility is anticipating and troubleshooting routine and unique matters that arise.
