Job Description:
This position will be responsible for providing front desk support for our Academic Advising Center. Our front desk handles both inbound and outbound calls, emails, and office visitors with both current and prospective UToledo students to coordinate academic advising appointments. The position also serves as a referral agent when calls are received and transferred to campus partners for timely support. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in helping others achieve their academic goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience:
• High School Diploma
Communication and other skills:
• Good written and verbal communication required
• Effective Decision-making and problem-solving skills required
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to keep organized and accurate records.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Adhere to FERPA and university policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
