Job Description:
This role will be responsible for leading training initiatives for end users, super users, and trainers within the Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc) and Orders domain. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive education through structured programs and hands-on training to ensure system proficiency and operational excellence across clinical departments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• A bachelor’s degree in Health Science, Health Information Management, Nursing or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or healthcare IT may also be considered.
• Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience in healthcare, with a specific focus on clinical documentation and order management workflows.
• Experience working with Epic applications, specifically with Epic ClinDoc and Orders is essential.
• Additional Epic certifications in ASAP (Emergency Department) and Stork (Obstetrics) are highly preferred.
Required Certifications:
• ClinDoc Certification
• Order Certification
• Training Environment Development (TED) 105: Technical Foundations Certification
• TED 300: Training Environment Configuration Certification
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Epic Principal Trainer with expertise in Epic ClinDoc and Orders modules.
• Must hold certifications in ClinDoc, Orders, TED105, and TED300.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, taking full responsibility for all phases of training development and execution.
