Job Description:
The Department of Medicinal and Biological Chemistry of the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, has an opening for a full-time tenure-track teaching and research faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful applicant will produce scholarship that complements and expands existing expertise in the department. The successful candidate will have a research agenda with a clear potential for external funding. The successful candidate should have demonstrated commitment to working with and supporting a diverse group of individuals from all academic levels, contribute to high-impact teaching in the college’s undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs, and provide service to the college, university and scientific community. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one year of postdoctoral research experience is preferred. The applicant will demonstrate a clear potential for external research funding.
