Job Description:

This is a research track faculty position for an outstanding PhD-level individual, who had at least three years’ post-doc trainings, and demonstrated intellectual competes in both publication and external grant application. The individual will continue the research with the principal investigator on studying the mechanisms of breast cancer tumorigenesis and metastases, tumor dormancy, and drug resistance in culture and in animal models, and will develop independent research direction in the breast cancer research field.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ph.D. in cancer biology, genomic research or related field

Hands-on experience with cellular and molecular biology.

Practical familiarity with standard tissue culture, animal studies, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer biology research laboratory.

Ability to write manuscripts and have them published in decent scientific journals

Ability to apply grants that are competitive for funding

Ability to teaching and helping students and junior staff in their research projects

Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence
Communication and other skills:

Ability to lead one and multiple research projects

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English)

Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research team

Ability to initiate and complete collaborative research
