Job Description:
The Director of Undergraduate Recruitment serves as a dynamic leader and strategist within the Division of Enrollment Management, develops and implements the University’s undergraduate student recruitment plans utilizing state-of-the-art data analytics and develops a team of outstanding admission professionals to achieve recruitment goals. The Director is an integral leader for recruitment of Undergraduates at The University of Toledo; overseeing the recruitment of undergraduate direct from high school, international, and adult and transfer students as well as assists in the development of community relationships and development of College Credit Plus high school students and their matriculation. The Director leads the ongoing training, coaching and evaluating of undergraduate recruitment staff, assistant and associate directors; employs a comprehensive performance management process including setting expectations through performance planning and follow-up with feedback for improvement; supports the communication and recruitment efforts for all territory managers, regional enrollment managers, and adult and transfer specialists; serves as liaison for collaborative recruitment with the academic colleges and other partner offices throughout the university; contributes to the creation and implementation of local and regional strategic planning efforts; develops data-informed recruitment travel plans with each admission representative which may includeselect travel for the director; responsible for overall recruitment budget aligning expenditures for undergraduate recruitment with the broader stregic enrollment management plan; develops and strengthens UToledo relationships with high school counselors and UToledo community members; supports and refines the process of counseling prospective adult, online, transfer, and freshman inquiries and applicants regarding admissions policies, procedures, and general information about UToledo.

Additional requirements:
Management experience a plus
Demonstrated networking abilities
Sales, marketing, and public speaking experience a plus
Familiarity with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems
Education/experience/licensing:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum five to seven (5-7) years of undergraduate recruitment experience required.
Successful supervisory experience with a track record of success in a post-secondary setting within an admissions office is preferred.
Development and implementation of strategic plans relating to higher education and enrollment initiatives preferred.
Experience with the onboarding and project management process with external vendors (EAB, Encoura, etc.) is required.
Understanding and workings of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.
