Job Description:

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) Department in the College of Engineering at The University of Toledo (UT) invites applications for a full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to teach Electrical Engineering courses in its Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at the Lorain County Community College (LCCC). This program is offered at the LCCC University Partnership Ridge Campus (UPRC), 30 miles Southwest of Cleveland, Ohio. This faculty position would provide instruction for face-to-face courses at the University Partnership Ridge Campus and be required to hold a minimum of five office hours per week onsite for LCCC students. Beginning Fall 2024, this position will be a continuing, non-tenure track appointment, renewable annually, conditional upon satisfactory performance and program needs. Candidates are sought with broad expertise and interest in teaching Electrical and Computer Engineering courses (e.g. Electric Circuits, Electronics, Signal and Systems, Digital Logic Design, Computer Architecture, etc.).
The successful candidate will be expected to (i) teach effectively at the undergraduate level; (ii) enthusiastically engage in curriculum development as well as instructional lab enhancement; (iii) guide senior design teams; and (iv) participate in high-impact service activities. It is possible that the candidate will collaborate with EECS faculty on scholarly research.  Faculty rank is contingent upon experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

A graduate degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering Degree or in closely related field is required at the time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering Degree or in closely related field is preferred.
