Job Description:

Applications are being accepted for multiple tenure-track faculty at the Assistant/Associate or full Professor level scientists working at the cellular and/or molecular level on topics relevant to cancer biology and experimental therapeutics to expand and complement the current strengths of the department.

Minimum Qualifications:


• Ph.D. or M.D. degree with impressive postdoctoral research accomplishments, required
• Minimum 3-4 years research experience in cancer biology at the cellular and/or molecular level on topics relevant to cancer biology and experimental therapeutics, required
• Three or more high quality publications, required
• Ability to collaborate with one or more existing faculty members in the department, required
• Ability to lead a laboratory team and work in a collegial manner with departmental personnel, required
• Applicants at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor are required to have significant grant funding from NIH or other national agencies
• Strong potential to compete for additional extramural funding, required

• Ability to organize, prioritize and efficiently coordinate various responsibilities and job duties.
• Ability to establish constructive interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and be proactive to avoid negative consequences.
