Job Description:

Maintains standards of professional nursing practice and coordinates total nursing care for patients with consideration of their specific age needs. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other health care professionals. Responsibilities include but not limited to: triage, assessment, and plan of care for Ambulatory Services. Will legibly document patient assessment and plan of care instructions and/or follow-up with the patient. Will work with multi-specialties to help establish positive patient outcomes through coordinated referrals and continuity of services.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
1. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
2. Current BLS certified.
3. Specialty certification preferred.
4. Experience in Ambulatory Services or ED required.
4. Must be willing to rotate shifts and units.
5. May be required to assume charge nurse role.
6. Must be able to function autonomously utilizing on-site training and demonstrating excellent problem solving kills, self-motivation, clinical confidence and computer competence.

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialty certification preferred.
