Job Description:

This position exists to conduct invasive grass carp removal and to collect and process biological and physical samples needed to carry out research on grass carp. Field and Laboratory Assistants will work mostly in the field as boat crew. When needed they will also carry out laboratory procedures or enter data.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD in Fisheries Biology, Environmental Sciences, Biology or related field.
• Skills
o Familiarity with adaptive management and adaptive problem mapping including experience in conducting interviews with professionals to elicit expert opinion and organizing and running workshops to develop consensus-driven action plans.
o Able to work as part of a team
o Able to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions
o High degree of boating experience and familiarity with driving in fast moving waters
o Requires fish identification skills and familiarity with aquatic ecosystems

Cardiac Registry & Cardiac Quality Programs Coordinators support cardiac, heart failure, and open-heart programs through management of clinical registry data, data abstraction, data entry, validation, analysis, reporting, and program performance improvement support. This position is responsible for the integrity, timeliness, and accuracy of assigned cardiac clinical registries, including data submission, audit readiness, and follow-up related to internal and external reporting requirements. This role works collaboratively with physicians, program leadership, nursing, quality, and operational departments to identify trends, support morbidity and mortality review, assist with registry-based and quality-based performance improvement activities, and prepare reports for leadership and committees.
