Job Description:
This position within the Office of Student Engagement & Connections (OSEC) helps with the daily operations and running of the office. This role oversees the student staff team including but not limited to: hiring, scheduling, training, and managing their time sheets. This role also assists in the management of the student engagement platform “InvoNet” and processes student organization event requests in conjunction with the Student Union reservationist. This position also helps in the planning and logistics of major university events including: Campus Involvement Fairs, Homecoming, Family weekends, awards banquets, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required and minimum of one year of related work experience or combination of
education and experience
• Excellent customer service and public relations
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to work independently or as a team member
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook)
• Ability to work flexible schedule and sometimes long hours including nights and/or weekends
• Knowledge of student organizations
