Job Description:
This position provides support to the University IT Support Teams and assists them in the accomplishment of their departmental activities. Provides assistance with the IT department’s vision in long range planning, technology requirements and initiatives and has an understanding of how technology is used in education.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or closely related field or an Associate’s degree with at least 2-5 years of experience at an IT Help Desk
• Practical experience in information technology a plus
• Knowledge of sound information security practices
• Experience or Education in any of the following:
o Providing desktop support
o Instructional lab uses and funding
o Apple hardware and software environment
o Microsoft Windows Server Operating System (Server, Active Directory and Exchange)
o Windows desktop/laptop Operating Systems (Professional)
