Job Description:

This position is responsible for making admission decisions for prospective students per the established and complex admission policies, requirements, and procedures for both graduate and undergraduate students. The person in this position navigates between multiple systems (Banner, Slate, ApplicationXtender) and procedural documents in order to evaluate records and make appropriate decisions. This position is responsible for the creation of electronic records by performing entry into multiple systems of admission data including transcript, test score, transfer credit, and initial admit and matriculation data which forms the basis of the student record. This position provides customer service to prospective students, parents, businesses, and other University personnel. This position performs data cleanup to ensure data integrity.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
Minimum high school diploma required
Minimum of three years office and computer experience required.
Three years of demonstrated proficiency with Banner Student.
Ability to understand, interpret, and manipulate Excel spreadsheets and other reports and procedural documents.

Communication and other skills:
Effective decision making and problem solving skills
Must be detail-orientated and have ability to keep organized and accurate records
Multi-tasking skills are essential as will be required to understand and navigate between multiple systems (Banner, Slate, ApplicationXtender imaging system)
Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding environment and be able to handle interruptions
Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently and prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

Some college or associate degree preferred.
Enrollment/admission experience preferred.
Experience with Banner Admission component preferred.
One year experience with CRM preferred.
