The Department of Surgery at the University of Toledo has a faculty position opening for a Plastic Surgeon. Candidates must have completed an accredited Plastic Surgery training program. Successful applicants should have experience in a full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The primary practice location is at the University of Toledo Medical Center, an academic level II Trauma center. Opportunity exists to build a cosmetic practice as well. As a faculty member, this position will be responsible for academic activities including teaching of medical students and residents; research; and related service duties. Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery The Department of Surgery at the University of Toledo, College of Medicine and Life Sciences, is seeking an Associate/Assistant Professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery who is either board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery. This position will assist the department with patient care, clinical activities, and education. Responsibilities: • Participate in all Vascular clinical services provided by the University of Toledo Physicians including floor work, surgery, endovascular procedures, consultations and clinics as needed • Provide Vascular Call coverage • Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion • Assist in the training and development of medical student and residents • Participate in research meetings and education activities within the division of Vascular Surgery and the Department of Surgery Requirements: • Ohio Medical License and DEA • Graduate of a Vascular Surgery program • Endovascular training • Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery • Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
