The Assistant Registrar contributes to the university’s mission and vision by implementing and exercising functional authority for developing, documenting, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing system resources, such as Banner, Astra Schedule, CourseLeaf CAT and CIM, and U.Achieve, which support all aspects of student records/services. This person will be responsible for the following functions: supervising the development of the university’s schedule of classes; training and supervising curriculum systems, information security, and records management staff; maintaining and auditing programmatic curricula across information systems; maintaining and supervising degree audit systems; ad hoc report writing for administrative data requests on student information; FERPA compliance; State Authorization (SARA) compliance and reporting; academic advising assignments; system security and access; CPOS encoding; and coordinating academic support functions within the Registrar’s Office. This Assistant Registrar will maintain a high level of knowledge related to Banner, U.Achieve, CourseLeaf, CIM, SQL Developer, FERPA regulations, and Registrar’s Office functions.

Minimum Qualifications: • Ph.D. in health sciences or related fields. • Hands-on experience with molecular and cell biology. • Hand-on experience with animal studies. • Practical familiarity with standard cell culture, molecular techniques and instrumentation utilized in a cancer research laboratory. • Willingness to write a postdoctoral fellowship Preferred Qualifications: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English) • Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary research team • Ability to perform experiments with initiative and independence, under general guidance from the PI.
