Job Description:

This Postdoctoral Fellow will be primarily responsible for designing and conducting experiments related to this lab’s NIH and/or other grants, which seek to investigate the mechanism of cartilage regeneration. This Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to conduct experiments and data analysis in an independent way, choose procedures appropriate for data acquisition, and be able to make independent judgements concerning experimental design and needed modifications to experimental protocols as well as troubleshooting. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in animal handling, gene cloning, mutagenesis, DNA/RNA isolation from tissue, recombinant vector generation for gene delivery, and primary cell culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Ph.D. required.
• 4-5 years laboratory experience required.
