Job Description:
This position is responsible for the preparation of fall 2025 environmental science undergraduate laboratory courses. Entering each course into Blackboard, ensuring the laboratory equipment is functional, necessary supplies are stocked and that labs are safety compliant.
• Organizes lab courses in Blackboard.
• Prepares materials for each lab session, maintains lab equipment, and ensures supplies are stocked.
• Edits Labs and assignments based on this past year’s experience.
• Enforce safety regulations, explain emergency procedures and ensure proper conduct in the lab.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental or life Sciences
• Skills
o Good written and verbal communication required
o Knowledge and experience with laboratory safety and operational protocols
o Knowledge and experience with Blackboard
o Effective Decision-making and problem-solving skills required
o Must be detail oriented and have ability to keep organized
