Job Description:
This position is responsible for creating and leading a comprehensive recruiting and marketing plan and strategy for all units housed within Enrollment Management which include undergraduate, direct from high school, international, transfers, online, and adult enrollment. The Director of Enrollment Communication makes data-informed decisions to plan, manage, and execute integrated and comprehensive communication plans using various media to meet the enrollment goals for the university.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field and five to seven (5-7) years of progressive full-time, professional experience working in college admissions, higher education marketing or communication, and/or marketing/communication serving a similar market demographic as higher education.
• Five to seven (5-7) years of supervisory experience required.
• Two (2) years’ previous work experience in CRM communications systems, and experience developing complex email communication flows based on consumer behavior including audience populations, templates, oversight and plan deployment is required.
• High proficiency in project management, attention to detail, prioritization of work and organizational skills required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, tight time constraints and periodic high-volume circumstances.
• Knowledge of recruitment strategies and/or higher education marketing and communication strategies.
• Effective management of complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals and as part of a team.
• Ability to think strategically, manage others and articulate positions.
• Ability to learn and adhere to the UToledo and Associated Press style guidelines.
• Demonstrated commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and handling of confidential information.
• Ability to effectively lead/guide staff responsible for CRM communication
