Job Description:
The Wound Clinic Navigator serves as a clinician and clinical administrator for the Wound and Vascular surgery department. Navigates wound management, education patient, evaluation of documentation and proper charging related to the care delivered in the outpatient setting, and responds to patient, provider and referring physician inquiries. Promotes patient safety by adhering to institutional and departmental policies and by practicing high standards of care.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Current RN, current licensure in the State of Ohio, BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Proficiency in selected Microsoft Office.
• Exhibits accuracy, integrity, and flexibility; is punctual and dependable.
• Possesses organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrates ability to work with self-direction and effectiveness under minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills; possesses group facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Recent clinical experience in specialty field preferred.
