Job Description:
The Intermittent Call-in continually monitors overall help desk activity and escalates emergencies to management; ensuring timely solutions to phone, email, and online chat technical support requests related to learning management, lecture capture, online testing, and other educational technology systems as well as non-technical informational/procedural inquires related to online teaching/learning or other university processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Experience working at a call center, service desk or help desk preferred
• Knowledge of Blackboard and computer/user issues in order to evaluate the best methods of addressing problems preferred
• Experience utilizing help desk tools such as ticketing systems and remote access technologies preferred
Communication and other skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and colleagues.
