Job Description:
Provides all aspects of clerical supports for faculty and the Clerkship Director. Maintains faculty calendars, schedules, and correspondence. Schedules students for orientation and elective in the Urology rotation.
Minimum Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED required
-One-year related office support work experience required,
-Type speed of 30 wpm required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates degree
• Familiarity with an academic environment
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task and work
with interruptions.
• Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals at all levels
of the organization.
• Must have the ability to prepare research grant applications, abstracts, as well as manuscript preparation and editing.
• Must work well under pressure and have demonstrated dependability.
• Must have the ability to formulate letters from verbal communication.
• Must have the ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages.
• Ability and willingness to be flexible and cooperative in handling and adapting to change in
conjunction with the needs of the department.
