Job Description:
The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst contributes to the fulfillment of the University’s mission and vision by performing tasks and activities that assist the supply chain management team in daily operations. This position is responsible for providing analytical skills, report writing/creation and project management, and working collaboratively with hospital and academic departments and supply chain leadership in supporting the development, growth, and efficient operations of Supply Chain through the use of information systems and applications. A significant portion of this position’s job duties include the management and tracking of Supply Chain Operations KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) and the utilization of supply chain data systems that support inventory management, procurement, clinical operations and patient care. This position will also provide support to the University’s two bin lean inventory management roll out maintenance. Requires a strong knowledge of IT, procurement, Crystal Reports or other data warehouse solutions, and MS Office suite with the ability to correlate information and data in order toto publish management reporting on a regular basis. Additionally requires strong communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and a customer service attitude. Serves as an ambassador of UT on behalf of the department and in the community, demonstrating our organization’s values, services and mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Logistics, Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain, Business or Other with demonstrated relevant work experience( will consider Associate’s degree with at least 10 years of experience)
• 5-7 years of inventory control or related experience
• 5-7 years of Lawson or similar ERP system administration experience with focus in inventory and replenishment modules
• Crystal Reports and other query writing experience preferred
• Knowledge of hospital operations and healthcare industry
• Working knowledge of accounting practices
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in providing a high level customer service
• Must be able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
Communication and other skills:
1. Must be articulate, dynamic, results oriented
2. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access; Lawson ERP system knowledge
3. Serves as an ambassador of UT on behalf of the department and in the community, demonstrating our organization’s values, services and mission.
4. Keeps up to date with annual safety test prior to date of expiration, HIPPA training, Harassment training, and maintains immunizations as required for job.
5. Excellent team or project leadership skills are a must.
