Job Description:

This position will be responsible for supporting academic success and engagement platforms. Additional responsibilities include system configuration, maintenance, and support; generating academic success data and outcomes/assessment reports; developing training materials for end users; conducting user training; and new project development. This position will take the lead in administering daily operations and functionality of the systems including regular interface with the vendors, IT personnel, UToledo Online, Registrar’s Office, and end users at the university.
In addition, this position will operationalize a call center. The call center will focus on re-enrolling students at UToledo and other call needs of the university. This position will hire, lead, and train all call center representatives. This position will also support the Associate Vice Provost with university student retention projects as assigned. Significant experience with project management, strategic development, Microsoft Excel, Banner, and a strong interest in student success and outcomes assessment preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s Degree required and at least one year of experience with systems administration preferred.
• Experience in managing a team of employees.
Communication and other skills:
• Proficient with various forms of technology/software including Microsoft Office, Banner and Blackboard,
with a particular focus on Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills including the ability to write detailed reports, training
materials, and marketing materials.
• Strong customer services skills including a dedication and priority for diversity and inclusion.
• Ability to multitask competing priorities and projects, and identification of strategic opportunities related
to student success.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and an ability to collaborate across campus units.
• Adhere to FERPA and university policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree recommended and preferred.
• Experience with Starfish/Navigate and/or Platinum Analytics preferred.
• Experience in assessment or an understanding of assessment and learning outcomes is recommended.
