Job Description:
This role provides direct supervision to Medical Assistants, office staff, students, and volunteers as needed. Provides overall supervision of clinic functions in the absence of the Clinic Manager or as delegated. Under general supervision of the Clinic Manager, the Clinic Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day clinic operations in the absence of the clinic manager. This role also assists in the implementation of the delivery of health care services, assists fellow employees in providing the highest quality personalized patient care, and maintains a positive work relationship with the health care team.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Previous Ambulatory Care nursing experience or Medical assistant experience required.
• Graduate from an approved School of Medical Assisting or Nursing.
• Required to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be punctual and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant or RN State licensure preferred.
• Two – three (2-3) years previous leadership preferred.
• Previous clinic experience preferred.
