Job Description:

The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, driven by the recent regional affiliation agreement with ProMedica, is poised for significant growth and expansion of its biomedical research mission. Diabetes is an important area of research that the University has invested in through the establishment of the Center for Diabetes and Endocrine Research in 2006. The purpose of the center is to stimulate and foster collaborative interdepartmental and interdisciplinary research in both basic and clinical areas related to diabetes, obesity, and related endocrine disease.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the depth and breadth of research experience and scientific vision necessary to foster the development of a high-quality, diabetes-related research center with a goal of increasing NIH funding support of its affiliated faculty and attaining national and international recognition as a Diabetes Research Center.
