Job Description:

This role is a member of the Residence Life administrative team with decision-making, crisis management, strategic and large-scale planning, assessment and curriculum development responsibilities. . This position is responsible for ensuring the implementation of and reviewing a residential program that focuses on student wellness & development with a focus on the 8 dimensions of wellness, intentional interaction, retention, and student engagement. . In addition, this position is responsible for translating the mission and values of the Residence Life program into programming (first-year experience, second-year experience, and general), diverse training and services, as well as safe, inclusive, and academically focused residential environments, which facilitate positive student growth and success.

The program manager through indirect supervision of the Resident Assistants, is responsible for the overall management of residence halls communities through planning, coordinating and implementing initiatives related to behavioral issues, student conduct, budget, safety, student retention and high-impact programming for the residential student population.

Minimum Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree required
-Minimum of three years full-time employment with significant progressive responsibilities in residence life settings.
-Strong working knowledge of residential curriculum development, student development theory, and student training development/implementation
-Previous experience with student conduct, employment, staff selection processes and training and supervision of full-time employees
-Familiarity with Title IX regulations and compliance and campus law enforcement
-Experience with StarRez or other housing solutions; additional experience with Banner, Maxient,
-Experience with Microsoft suites (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

•Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or college student personnel preferred
•Prior experience in a large-school setting; significant years of experience in residence life, focusing on the administration of student personnel, student housing, residential life programs
•Administrative experience that includes budget & project management, planning, policy development, and assessment.
