Job Description:
The Department of Population Health at the University of Toledo College of Health and Human Services, has an opening for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The successful candidate should have expertise in Biostatistics & Epidemiology and be comfortable working with graduate students in public health, nursing, and medicine.
The successful applicant will be expected to produce scholarship in the field of public health and be committed to working with and supporting a diverse group of individuals from all academic levels, contribute to high-impact teaching in the college’s graduate and undergraduate degree programs, and provide service to the college, university and professional community. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
The University of Toledo is one of 14 state universities in Ohio and is a public metropolitan research university with students on its main campus and health science campus, which houses the University of Toledo Medical Center and the Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required qualifications include a completed PhD or DrPH in Public Health, Biostatistics, or Epidemiology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferences will be given to candidates with previous collegiate teaching experience and those with a track record in scholarship and grant activity.
