Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at the University of Toledo invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Clinical or Experimental Psychology. We welcome applicants whose scholarship addresses applied, community-relevant issues and complements our existing strengths. Areas of particular interest include neurodiversity, substance use, social media and AI, health psychology, and applied decision making. We seek a scholar whose research tackles real-world challenges and reflects a commitment to community-engaged work. The successful candidate will teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, mentor graduate student research, and maintain an active, fundable research program.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a doctorate in Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution by the time of appointment. Evidence of a strong applied research agenda is required. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as a clear potential for securing external funding. A record of community engagement in research, teaching, or service is also required.
