Assist in the development of detailed investigator-initiated research protocols and ensure feasibility and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. IRB, FDA regulations). Manage data collection and assist in basic statistical analysis, as well as train research team members, learners, and volunteer study staff. Disseminate research findings through prepared presentations, executive summaries, and reports. Perform periodic monitoring on data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Assist in the management and coordination of clinical trials including protocol review, site selection, budget creation, and regulatory submission preparation and submission. Coordinate and oversee participant recruitment including the informed consent process, data collection, performance of study activities, as well as quality and safety monitoring during the clinical trial. Facilitate frequent communication between stakeholders including sponsors, investigators, collaborators, and departments.
