The Title IX Investigator may need to substitute for the Director, Title IX and Compliance, when the Director or Associate Director is not available. The Title IX Investigator is also responsible for assisting with analyzing data and statistics to provide timely and accurate reports for internal and external use.

We are seeking outstanding scientists who study highly-infectious pathogens, host-pathogen interactions, and/or vaccine/therapeutic development and require biosafety level 3 (BSL3) and animal BSL3 (A-BSL3) containment for these studies. Ideal candidates will study highly-infectious pathogens such as Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Coxiella burnetii, Yersinia pestis, Rickettsia sp., influenza virus, EEEV, SARS, MERS, West Nile virus, Hantavirus, Chikungunya, etc. The University is undergoing an exciting phase of research infrastructure expansion, including a $7M federal investment to renovate and expand the existing BSL3/A-BSL3 into 6 biocontainment suites, with shared equipment spaces and biocontainment entry/exit showers, for Select Agent, biodefense, and/or emerging infectious disease research.
