The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, OB/GYN subspecialist to join our team at the University of Toledo Medical Center and ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Our institution features a medical school hospital with a fully accredited OBGYN residency program, active robotic program, gender health seed grant, is currently home to approximately 20 active residents. The department boasts a well-established Level 4 Maternal and Level 3 Neonatal Childbirth unit and Gyn practice in addition to other Gyn subspecialties. This position offers a unique blend of clinical practice, teaching, opportunities for leadership development and growth in a supportive and dynamic environment with potential opportunity for resident/student education leadership. The primary practice location is situated within a large academically affiliated hospital system with options for academic leadership in teaching, such as residency program administration or clerkship administration, as well as involvement in research initiatives. Additionally, there are plans for co-recruitment to form a robust specialty group that includes additional MIGS and/or URPS subspecialists. Position offers leadership opportunities such as Clerkship Director or Residency Director.

Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in Hematology, Immunohematology, Clinical Chemistry, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the University of Toledo’s NAACLS accredited undergraduate Medical Laboratory Science program, and selected foundational biology courses in the program of study. The successful candidate will hold an ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, and will have earned a masters degree, preferably in biology, chemistry or a related health sciences field by August 2025.

The Department of Psychology at The University of Toledo seeks outstanding candidates for a full-time 12-month clinical faculty position (non-tenure) to serve as the director of the Psychology Clinic. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and be license eligible in Ohio. The primary responsibility for this position is to serve as director of an operational psychology clinic housed within the Department of Psychology. This clinic serves as the primary training clinic for clinical psychology doctoral students. Responsibilities include providing clinical supervision for clinical psychology doctoral students, overseeing externship placements in the community, serving as instructor of record for clinical graduate practicum courses, and engaging in outreach to the university and surrounding community. Supervision of clinical work will include outpatient therapy (e.g., group, individual) and assessment (e.g., psychodiagnostics, cognitive). Use of the clinic space and resources for private practice clients can be negotiated.
