The Department of Surgery at the University of Toledo has a faculty position opening for a Plastic Surgeon. Candidates must have completed an accredited Plastic Surgery training program. Successful applicants should have experience in a full spectrum of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The primary practice location is at the University of Toledo Medical Center, an academic level II Trauma center. Opportunity exists to build a cosmetic practice as well. As a faculty member, this position will be responsible for academic activities including teaching of medical students and residents; research; and related service duties. Toledo is Ohio’s fourth largest city with a metro area population of 600,000. It provides important small town advantages such as convenience and a low cost of living. The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, OB/GYN subspecialist to join our team at the University of Toledo Medical Center and ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Our institution features a medical school hospital with a fully accredited OBGYN residency program, active robotic program, gender health seed grant, is currently home to approximately 20 active residents. The department boasts a well-established Level 4 Maternal and Level 3 Neonatal Childbirth unit and Gyn practice in addition to other Gyn subspecialties. This position offers a unique blend of clinical practice, teaching, opportunities for leadership development and growth in a supportive and dynamic environment with potential opportunity for resident/student education leadership. The primary practice location is situated within a large academically affiliated hospital system with options for academic leadership in teaching, such as residency program administration or clerkship administration, as well as involvement in research initiatives. Additionally, there are plans for co-recruitment to form a robust specialty group that includes additional MIGS and/or URPS subspecialists. Position offers leadership opportunities such as Clerkship Director or Residency Director.
