The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, OB/GYN subspecialist to join our team at the University of Toledo Medical Center and ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Our institution features a medical school hospital with a fully accredited OBGYN residency program, active robotic program, gender health seed grant, is currently home to approximately 20 active residents. The department boasts a well-established Level 4 Maternal and Level 3 Neonatal Childbirth unit and Gyn practice in addition to other Gyn subspecialties. This position offers a unique blend of clinical practice, teaching, opportunities for leadership development and growth in a supportive and dynamic environment with potential opportunity for resident/student education leadership. The primary practice location is situated within a large academically affiliated hospital system with options for academic leadership in teaching, such as residency program administration or clerkship administration, as well as involvement in research initiatives. Additionally, there are plans for co-recruitment to form a robust specialty group that includes additional MIGS and/or URPS subspecialists. Hire a Program Manager SCOPE & Instrumentation Analyst to represent the University of Toledo to the public esp. schools through the SCOPE outreach program by organizing and leading SCOPE sessions during which middle and high school students remotely control (from their classroom) highly sophisticated research instrumentation located at UT. This role will be responsible for the operation, training and maintenance of a scientific instrument located within the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics’ Instrumentation Center. This role will prepare and analyze samples submitted from both, university, and industrial users. The employee will train, supervise, and assist the users of the Scanning Electron Microscope. Additionally, this role will assist in office duties including but not limited to support in grant writing, responsibilities related to the ICenter budget, creating webpages, and assisting the Director of the Instrumentation Center in day-to-day operations.

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Toledo seek to fill a 9-month Assistant Lecturer position. Primary teaching responsibilities include courses in Hematology, Immunohematology, Clinical Chemistry, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the University of Toledo’s NAACLS accredited undergraduate Medical Laboratory Science program, and selected foundational biology courses in the program of study. The successful candidate will hold an ASCP-BOC or ASCPi-BOC generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist, and will have earned a masters degree, preferably in biology, chemistry or a related health sciences field by August 2025.
