The Senior Payroll Analyst analyzes the payroll system and monitors the payroll process. Identifies opportunities to streamline activities and optimize performance. Notes weaknesses or deficiencies and implements corrective action plans. Provides technical support and performs testing for system upgrades. Coordinates with technology resources to resolve software application issues. Conducts tax-related research and interprets tax regulations. Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, statutes, and regulations. Provides technical expertise related to tax matters. Performs periodic tax audits to evaluate and promote compliance. Prepares and reviews payroll tax returns for all taxing authorities. Administers W-2 reporting for all employees. Develops and maintains expertise regarding the taxation and reporting of income for foreign students and employees. Administers all year-end 1042 reporting. Works directly with external taxing authorities as needed to address and rectify any payroll tax issues. Partners with General Accounting to ensure the accuracy of payroll accounts. Prepares monthly reconciliations and corrections to general ledger accounts. Prepares and maintains supporting documentation as well as workpapers needed for the annual audit. Creates and manages an extensive repository of database reports and queries to enable efficient reporting to both internal and external constituents. Performs statistical analysis on payroll data and maintains various payroll metrics. Assists the Fiscal Manager with special projects and other assignments of significant complexity. Manages research and data analysis and creates reports for upper management as well as internal and external auditors.

The Department of OB/GYN is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor, OB/GYN subspecialist to join our team at the University of Toledo Medical Center and ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Our institution features a medical school hospital with a fully accredited OBGYN residency program, active robotic program, gender health seed grant, is currently home to approximately 20 active residents. The department boasts a well-established Level 4 Maternal and Level 3 Neonatal Childbirth unit and Gyn practice in addition to other Gyn subspecialties. This position offers a unique blend of clinical practice, teaching, opportunities for leadership development and growth in a supportive and dynamic environment with potential opportunity for resident/student education leadership. The primary practice location is situated within a large academically affiliated hospital system with options for academic leadership in teaching, such as residency program administration or clerkship administration, as well as involvement in research initiatives. Additionally, there are plans for co-recruitment to form a robust specialty group that includes additional MIGS and/or URPS subspecialists. Position offers leadership opportunities such as Clerkship Director or Residency Director.
