This position has the total responsibility for the strategic direction and operation of Food & Nutrition Services and the Gift Shop for the UT Medical Center Campus. This includes the areas of food production, service and sanitation which are located on the UT Medical Center. The director is responsible for multiple site operations, from catering, purchasing and receiving food and supplies, to diet office operations and the provision of therapeutically correct diets to patients in accordance with physician orders.
