The primary support staff member in Counseling Center providing administrative support for both departmental and clinical functions to Counseling Center director, counselors, advocate/case manager, and interns/externs. Serves as resource person by managing and coordinating day to day operations of Counseling Center by relieving director of administrative tasks, is responsible for opening and securing the Center, its offices and files, assists with statistical or reporting needs, serves as Counseling Center receptionist, accesses required information from University Financial and Human Resource systems for requisition and payment of goods and services, completion of departmental personnel forms, and monthly departmental budget reconciliations, schedules student clients for Counseling Center services utilizing client registration software, monitors and assists with electronic health record functions, documents client contacts, and handles any other needed or assigned support functions at the Counseling Center.
