Hire a full time staff - Associate Business Manager in the Provost Office's Academic Finance area to oversee operational and strategic business matters for Academic Affairs which includes the fiscal and administrative management of the academic operations. The Associate Business Manager will be providing day-to-day support to a higher-level business manager, SR business manager, or leader as assigned. The position support includes fiscal and budget administration, human resources management and planning, information technology, purchasing and facilities. The Summer Student Research Assistant will assist with general laboratory and field-based research activities in support of ongoing environmental health and biomedical research projects. The position is intended to provide supervised exposure to research methods, laboratory organization, environmental sample handling, field data collection, and basic research support activities. This position has no clinical component. The student will not provide clinical care, interact with patients or clinical research participants, perform clinical procedures, access medical records, access protected health information, or participate in any activity requiring clinical training or licensure. All work will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. David Kennedy, Dr. Steven Haller, or their designees.
