Job Description:
This job entails working on projects related to optical microscopy, specifically for imaging sperm cells and cancer cells. Sperm cell imaging will be performed for developing new fertility testing assay. Cancer cell imaging will be performed to develop new anti-cancer drug screening assay. Some studies will be carried out collaboratively with Dr. Avidor-Reiss’s group in MCDB.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of and experience with multimodal optical microscopy, including fluorescence, brightfield, phase contrast and dark field; Ability to handle hardware and build microscopes; good oral and written communication skills; experience with image processing and analysis; experience in data analysis and computation; experience with handling cancer cells.
