Job Description:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Talent Acquisition team by facilitating key elements of the recruitment and onboarding processes. This includes creating requisitions, assisting with new hire paperwork, and coordinating onboarding logistics to ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring managers. The role involves screening resumes, managing candidate data, and ensuring that all aspects of the hiring lifecycle are completed accurately and efficiently. The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates with hiring departments to review job descriptions, respond to candidate inquiries and ensure compliance with hiring deadlines. Additionally, the Specialist prioritizes and coordinates workflows to meet posting, interviewing, and hiring milestones while supporting the Talent Acquisition Partners in their efforts to attract and acquire top-tier talent. This position plays a vital role in optimizing the recruitment process and ensuring that all candidates experience a smooth, timely transition into the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree in HR or related field or the equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, staffing or recruiting required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment with flexibility, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
• Experience using the MS office suite, particularly MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of human resource compensation and employment policies and processes
• Experience using an applicant tracking system preferred.
• Experience in a university or healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and their impact on hiring processes preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and positive attitude, with the ability to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders respectfully and tactfully from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with all levels of stakeholders, while operating in a fast-paced customer service driven environment.
• Must be flexible and willing to be on-site and network off-site to assist and coordinate candidate experience.
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
