Job Description:

This role is an integral part of the outreach and recruitment efforts in the Office of Undergraduate Admission at The University of Toledo. This position will develop relationships and represent UToledo both on and off campus to promote partnership and create pathways for multicultural student recruitment; oversees the daily supervision of a select number of admission counselors under the direction of the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment; supports the communication and recruitment efforts for underrepresented student populations and serves as liaison for collaborative recruitment with the Offices of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Multicultural Student Success, and Accessibility and Disability Resources; contributes to the creation and implementation of local and regional strategic planning efforts including messaging; develops and strengthens UToledo relationships with high school counselors and UToledo community members; provides ongoing training to recruitment staff regarding cultural competency and other diversity-related matters; performs special duties as assigned.

This position also oversees all admission related administrative aspects of high school outreach related to dual enrollment such as the College Credit Plus Program and works to strengthen relationships with Ohio secondary school administrators and counselors to promote UToledo’s College Credit Plus Program. Additionally, this position leads and manages strategic recruitment, marketing and communication, and enrollment initiatives for dual enrollment and works closely with the Office of the Provost to follow all CCP state rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum 2-4 years of undergraduate admission experience required.
• Successful supervisory experience with a track record of success in a post-secondary setting within an Admissions office is preferred.
• Commitment to inclusion and desire to work with diverse groups of people. Experience working with culturally diverse populations.
• Development and implementation of strategic plans relating to higher education and enrollment initiatives preferred.
• Familiarity with and use of strategic data analysis tools such as ACT AIM, ACT EIS, College Board EPS, etc. is preferred.
• Understanding and workings of Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems preferred.

Additional requirements:
o Management experience a plus.
o Demonstrated networking abilities.
o Sales, marketing, and public speaking experience a plus.
o Familiarity with Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
