Job Description:

All Saturday School facilitators are asked to create their own lesson plans and curriculum, along with a pre and post assessment to evaluate students’ level of proficiency, knowledge, interest, or awareness in the specific course content areas.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be proficient in area of specific course interest, high school level math or science course equivalents to Pre-Algebra, Algebra I/Integrated Math I, Geometry, and possibly Integrated Math II/Algebra II; high school Physical Science and Biology, or any other skilled proficiencies to facilitate a 9 to 10-week high school course.

Preferred Qualifications:

Content area degree/background, extensive training, certificate program, or work experience in relevant areas of interest; teaching and/or tutoring experience.
Required skills: classroom management, working with diverse youth.
