Job Description:

This role is responsible for administrative and secretarial support for the President’s Office. Some general support can include maintaining day-to-day schedule and long-term calendar, independently initiating & responding to correspondence on behalf of the President’s Office with important internal and external stakeholders & directing routine office operations. Will often be the first point of contact to multiple constituencies, including Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, students, vendors, and individuals outside the University.

Responsible for appropriately navigating highly sensitive and confidential information in cooperation with and for the President’s office.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors + 3 years of progressively responsible administrative or secretarial experience for management, or 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience or support in lieu of education.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to download and perform basic analysis of data from University of Toledo databases.
• Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to customer service and inclusive excellence.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people at all levels of the organization.
