Job Description:

The Business Operations Analyst will assist to support the day-to-day operations of the business office while adhering to accepted accounting and financial principles and procedures.

Job duties include:
• Assist in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business office, including but not limited to maintaining student tuition and fees rate tables, system upgrades, maintaining and developing reports, daily cash processing, reconciliation, account auditing, billing/collections, ecommerce sites, production scheduling, data processing, and maintaining webpages.
• Assist in streamlining department business processes using new and existing technology while maintaining quality control.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and providing process documentation to support day-to-day operations while ensuring the business    office is following Federal and State regulations, and university policies.
• Perform administrative duties and coordinate activities for annual Payment Card Industries (PCI) audits.
• Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, sponsors, and visitors. Ensure accurate and timely research of customers’ inquiries and respond promptly.
• Perform additional duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelors’ degree or two to three years (2-3) years of comparable work experience.
   o Preference in Business or Information Systems.
• Related work experience preferred in accounting, finance, and/or other relevant experience.

Communication and other skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented and willingness to learn.
• Requires the ability to manage multiple projects, produce high quality work within established timeframes and the ability to problem solve.
• Initiative-taker
• Analytical reasoning and ability to work as a team.
• Proficiency with
   o Microsoft Office, especially Excel
   o Basic Structure Query Language (SQL)and Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Banner ERP system (or similar ERP system) at a public university related to the
student account.
