Job Description:

The University of Toledo Judith Herb College of Education is seeking to hire a visiting assistant professor of special education with teaching strengths in graduate instruction for advanced professionals in special education. The successful candidate will teach courses in special education, participate in course assessment and revision, and maintain currency in special education theory and research and professional organization. The candidate will be encouraged to establish and maintain a professional relationships and actively pursue external funding in the field.

Required qualifications include: a doctoral degree in special education, curriculum and instruction or a related field. Experience working in the field of special education and with university teaching the online platforms is preferred.

Application materials include a cover letter, Curriculum Vita, and contact information for three references. Review of applications will begin in July 2024 and will continue until the position is filled. Start date is August 2024.

-Experience working in the field of special education and with university teaching and online platforms is preferred.
